RAIDERS FOLLOW DISTRICT WIN WITH GONZALES HAT TRICK IN LOSS

The Raiders nearly snagged back-to-back victories for the first time this season last week after winning 2-0 against Hallettsville and pushing Columbus to a one-goal game. However, the Raiders could not get over the hump against the Cards in a 4-3 defeat. The Raiders’ five goals last week matched a season-high for goals scored in a week. Jael Valles Serrano Provided the two goals against Hallettsville with an assist from Miguel Vital and Raphael Herrera. Angel Gonzales secured a hat trick against the Cards with one assist from Valles Serrano. Pictured is Raul Garcia during an earlier game this season.
