There are several ways Colorado County residents recognize and celebrate the day the U.S. declared its freedom from the British Empire in 1776. Since then, part of the celebration has included fireworks, barbecues and pool parties as the country unites on the Fourth of July.
These celebrations will continue this year as there are several ways residents can join together to recognize the establishment of the United States and a major turning point in world history.
