A huge day of fun is planned at the Weimar Public Library on Monday, June 24

Mad Hatter Tea Party at the Weimar Library

Billed as the “Adventures in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party”, it is the fourth in a series of free programs for children this summer. This event will be held at the Weimar City Gazebo beginning at 11 a.m.

Children will be able to choose from events attheGazebo. Events planned included: an Alice Kickboxing Dance Party, “Eat Me” Cupcake Decorating, “Drink Me” Tea and Punch Time, Tiny Tea Cup Decorating, Mad Hatter Storytelling, Royal Croquet, Rabbit Hole Tunneling Fun, and photo opportunities provided with a backdrop and characters.

All the events are free. The Friends of the Weimar Public Library invite everyone to bring the kids and grandkids. In the case of inclement weather, the event will move inside the library.

Don’t forget that Friends of the Weimar Public Library continue to provide programs like chess lessons and hapkido lessons on Tuesdays throughout June and July and the library offers a Story Time and Movie Day each Thursday. On Friday’s, classes are offered in crochet for intermediate as well as beginners and every Wednesday a low impact exercise program is featured.
