Several students hailing from Colorado County received academic honors for their respective performances at their colleges throughout the spring semester.
There were many collegiate graduations this spring for attendees of Sam Houston State University. Naydelin Silva of Alleyton graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration and International Business. Hannah Mick of Weimar graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Mick was also part of the Honors College program. Makayla Cooper graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.
At Southwestern College, Zoe Berger of Columbus reached the Dean’s List, compiling a grade point average over 3.70.
