Weimar Library prepares for summer activities

Summer is coming and the Weimar Public Library is offering many free upcoming events for local residents.

Monday, May 20 is the start of the “Adventure begins at YOUR LIBRARY” campaign. Anyone of all ages can register to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Information will be provided at registration.

Then on Wednesday, May 22 the Library in Motion group will be relaxing and strengthening in the Basic Yoga and Meditation Class at 10 a.m.

Join in on Thursday May 23 for Family Storytime celebrating Memorial Day at 10 a.m. followed by Preschool Discovery Time making your own flag at 10:30 a.m.

On Friday May 24 Beginner Crochet Class will meet until the schedule changes next week with adults starting at 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the youth group from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Reminder: the library will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. Do not forget to pick up an event calendar and RSVP to the events this summer.
