The Weimar Ladycats had one athlete qualify to compete in the UIL State Golf Tournament in Austin, TX on Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7.
Taylor Smith represented the Ladycats well at the State Tournament by shooting a 91 on day one. Smith came back on day two though and cut her score down by 13 shots and scored a 78.
It was an impressive feat Smith accomplished, and her efforts were rewarded by earning 12th place in the tournament to end her season on a high note.
