The Green Door Fund, a program of the Fayette Community Foundation, and Arts for Rural Texas are hosting a two-hour hospitality training called Communication is the Key. This training will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 20 in the Ross Gallery at Arts for Rural Texas in Fayetteville.
Led by Sally Reynolds of Round Top, this training will teach effective communication, body language, and personal hygiene. Attendees will learn professional telephone handling, how to greet customers/visitors, and how to provide quality customer service. Attendees will also learn how to handle customer complaints.
This training costs $25 per person and is ideal for frontline employees who work for hotels, restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. Space is limited, and attendees must reserve their spots and pay in advance.
There is a limited number of scholarships available. Proceeds benefit the Green Door Fund for Workforce Development and Education and Arts for Rural Texas.
