A free program on the benefits of and the reasons for owning real estate will be held at the Weimar Public Library at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17.
At this free informational forum, attendees will be presented information on real estate ownership and investing, including tax advantages, types of real estate, reasons for owning real estate, and ways to purchase real estate.
Gary Helmcamp, a Weimar resident, will provide the audience with the basics of real estate.
Helmcamp, with over 30 years of personal and brokerage experience in real estate, will focus on general information to guide the audience about what buyers and sellers need to know.
This program is not a solicitation for real estate services but is intended as information on a variety of general real estate questions.

Friends of the Weimar Public Library will be offering a Hunter Safety certification class on July 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Certification is required for hunters in Texas.
The class will be offered at the Weimar Jr. High cafeteria. Seating is limited and attendees must be registered to get into the class. Please call the Weimar Public Library for registration information.
