COLUMBUS — Taking advantage of a school-free day, some members of the Girl Friends group from the Boys and Girls Club, visited City Hall on Feb. 13.
Guided by Mayor Lori An Gobert, they toured the City Administration Building, were suited up by firefighters Richard LeCourse and Anna Shultz of the Volunteer Fire Department, and met with Captain Wendy Alley from the Police Department.
According to a release, they were all smiles after a very informative and exciting afternoon. They were grateful to Mayor Gobert for arranging the visit.
