The team at Texas Farm Bureau Insurance of Colorado County would like to recognize and thank Agency Manager James M. Janik, LUTCF for 25 years of dedicated service to the company.
Janik contracted as an agent on May 1, 1999 in the Washington County office in Brenham under Agency Manager Elton Steffen. This is where James learned what it takes to protect his clients and their businesses with Life, Auto, Home, and Farm and Ranch insurance.
In July of 2013, James and his wife, Shelley, moved back home to Columbus with their two children, Hayley and Zach, where they settled on family land in Bernardo.
Glad to be back among family and friends, Janik continued to serve his clients and the community through work and volunteering in various organizations around town. He has been on the boards for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the Colorado County Fair Board, and the Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department.
Janik was awarded the position of Agency Manager on Sept. 1, 2017 after the previous manager retired. Since then, he has worked to grow the agency to the most successful it has ever been.
A true leader, he strives to support his staff, agents, and the community in all things, and takes great pride in the positive impact his team has in the lives of our clients and the local citizens.
He hopes to serve for another 25 years with the goal of 50 years with the company and 36 years of taking care of the people of Colorado County. Please join in congratulating him on a job well done and best wishes for many more years of service.
