The Friends of the Weimar Library will hold its annual book sale on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Weimar Library at 1 Jackson Square. This sale is open to the public, and everyone is invited to browse what is available.
The library will have many books, puzzles, and DVD’s for sale for every age group.
Paperback books are 25 cents, hardcover books $1, audio books $2 and DVD movies $1. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Weimar Public Library organization.
Every child who attends the sale will receive a free book of their choice, thanks to the generosity of Elaine Thomas.
The Friends of the Weimar Public Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the Weimar Public Library. Their purpose is to increase the number of local citizen who are interested in the library’s activities, to promote reading and literacy in the community, and to raise awareness of the library’s resources.
