I am 57 and a Retired Police Chief with 35-years of law enforcement experience with over 7-years as the Weimar Police Chief.
I hold a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) as well as a Certified Public Manager certification and FBI National Academy training.
I have served my entire career in municipal government public safety and been exposed during those years to the workings of municipal government.
I have knowledge in public safety, community relations, and leadership to be able to address challenges facing the City.
I have a vested interest in this community. When I moved here to accept the Police Chief position, I planted roots here. I wanted to see the City thrive, grow and be secure.
My 35 years in law enforcement prove I have a dedication to service ,and I am committed to upholding the values of integrity, accountability, and public trust.
My vision for the City and my community relations, coupled with my experience, make me capable of being a leader ready to tackle the responsibilities of the office of Mayor. I want to be part of change and growth for the City.
