I am 45 years old. I moved back to Columbus 17 years ago to join the family business, Country Fresh Cleaners. I am still part of the day-to-day operations.
This community means a lot to me. I loved growing up here, and I am blessed to be able to raise my family here.
One of my visions is to make Columbus a destination for teachers and families. Our community is flourishing. We have new businesses opening and succeeding.
We have people traveling to our little town to visit; stay, play, and eat! Those are the big monetary drivers for our community. We need to make sure this vision continues with our children and teachers.
We want families to move in and be excited about our public education system. We want teachers to seek jobs with CISD, not just settle. I personally feel that our school district is on the right path to growing this mindset.
If I am elected to the board, I will promise that my actions will always reflect the bestinterestst of teachers, students, and community. I use the word “actions” because I will actively work toward the changes we need, not just talk about them.
