Weimar Lions Club hosts Turtle Wing exec

The most recent Weimar Lions Club meeting on Tuesday, April 16, featured a visit from Turtle Wing Foundation Executive Director Destiny Siptak over lunch.

She has been the leader of this non-profit organization for about two-anda- half years.

They manage a charitable budget of around $400,000 per year.

They support, and connect, learning challenged individuals and their families in Colorado, Fayette and Lavaca Counties with care providers.

Last year, over 300 children benefited from their involvement. On Saturday, May 18, they will have an event at Holman Valley Steakhouse.

The Weimar Lions presented her with a check for their charitable needs.
