Poetry Night at Weimar library

This Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m., the Friends of the Weimar Public Library will present its 3rd Annual Poetry Open Mic Night at the City Gazebo.

Come out and join the Friends in a truly unique experience for the community. Through the readings of others, attendees will be introduced to a wide variety of emotions as they laugh and, yes, sometimes cry with the presenters.

Come to listen or come to read. All are welcome.

Attendees will be introduced to a variety of presenters of various ages, various themes, and a broad spectrum of emotional responses. Join in this unique community event.

This year, original poems can be entered into an Anthology book. Poets should register their poems with their name, phone number and email address at [email protected]. Call the library at 979-7256608 for any questions.

In case of inclement weather, the program will take place inside the Weimar Public Library.
