Group hosts Honey Bee Jubilee

NEW ULM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

May 4 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Free admission The New Ulm Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to an event centered on all things bees.

The Honey Bee Jubilee is a community family festival held in historical New Ulm, Texas. The venue is The St. John Lutheran Church grounds and facilities located at 210 Hickory Roard, New Ulm. The church grounds offer the perfect location for a fun Springtime festival.

The Chamber’s goal is to create a family atmosphere to promote and educate the public about honeybees and the nature that surrounds them.

Some of the features are:

• Honey bee and nature related vendors: (we vet the vendors to be sure their offerings are 50% honey/ pollinator/nature related) including local honey, honey sampling, bee related crafts, local bee keeping clubs, native plant sales, and educational groups.

• Workshops

• Clinics

• Food and refreshments (honey bee)
