A program called “Plants of the Bible” will be offered at the Columbus Garden Club meeting on Wednesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at The Lighthouse at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Veterans Drive in Columbus. Arrive early for coffee and refreshments at 9:30 a.m.

Williamson is Vice President of Columbus Garden Club, Board Member of Hallettsville Garden Club, is a master gardener, has a degree in Floral Design, member of the American Horticultural Society, American Aroid Society, is a Houston Area Flower Show Judge and Master National Garden Club Flower Show Judge.
The symbols of love, faith and hope are depicted by flowers in the Bible. The lily represents purity, innocence and resurrection while love, beauty and hope are symbolized by the rose. Visit the program to learn more about the flowers in local gardens that are mentioned in the Bible and enjoy visiting with other gardeners.
