At 5:56 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 4300 block of I-10 in reference to possible criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 11:50 pm Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 900 block of Walnut in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

DECEMBER 30, 2023

At 1:46 am Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 500 block of Front St in reference to possible shots fired. Officers arrived and did not locate any suspicious activity.

At 3:08 am Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 8:40 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 1600 block of Front St in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Information was received.

At 9:20 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 100 block of 2nd Ave in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Information was received.

At 2:25 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 3:20 pm Lt. Daniel responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 3:53 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 8:00 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 1500 block of Bowie St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

DECEMBER 31, 2023

At 1:55 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 6:17 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 500 block of Milam in reference to a city ordinance violation- discharge fireworks. The subjects were located and given a written warning.

At 7:31 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:45 pm Ofc. Godfrey conducted a traffic stop on the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Michael Semora was arrested for Driving while intoxicated second and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JANUARY 1, 2024

At 12:19 am Cpl. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Wallace in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 3:28 am Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 1400 block of Crockett in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 2:25 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Riverbend Dr in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 2:40 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 900 block of Walnut in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 8:16 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 1100 block of Walnut in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 9:16 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property. At 9:19 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 700 block of Preston St in reference to a city ordinance violationdischarge fireworks. The subjects were located and given a written warning.

JANUARY 2, 2024

At 3:34 am Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. After further investigation, Angel Gomez was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 6:25 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 300 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 10:20 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1300 block of Montezuma in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

At 11:00 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 2:36 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 3:25 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JANUARY 3, 2024

At 7:12 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1600 block of Prairie St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 8:20 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 400 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 1:02 pm Ofc. Blair responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 2:10 pm Ofc. Blair responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

JANUARY 4, 2024

At 9:35 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 600 block of Milam in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Billy Hefner arrived on scene and stated time of death and determined cause of death was natural.

At 10:35 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 11:45 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 100 block of Draper St in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Information was received.

At 1:33 pm Det. Moulder responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and taken to the city pound.

JANUARY 5, 2024

At 12:20 pm Det. Moulder responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 12:33 pm Ofc. Blair responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 2:44 pm Ofc. Blair responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

JANUARY 6, 2024

At 8:05 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 7:40 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 11 :20 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Cardinal Ln in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 7:50 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 300 block of Charter St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.

JANUARY 8, 2024

At 9:30 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 200 block of 3rd Ave in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 12:00 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 1900 block of Walnut in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 12:55 pm Ofc. Wilson responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

JANUARY 9, 2024

At 8:47 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 100 block of Legion Cr in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Stan Warfield arrived on scene and stated time of death and determined cause of death was natural.

At 12:27 pm Det. Moulder responded to the 900 block of Fannin in reference to an escort.

At 12:39 am Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 400 block of Jones St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:05 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to a possible disturbance. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:18 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1100 block of Rampart in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

At 11:49 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1300 block of Fannin in reference to a possible scam. Information was received.

At 4:45 am Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to loud music. The music was not located.

At 9:16 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 10:00 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 1400 block of Walnut in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and removed from the property.

At 10:47 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 100 block of Sweetbriar Dr in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 8:17 am Ofc. Blair responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 11:03 am Ofc. Blair assisted Colorado County Deputies on the Hwy 90 in reference to a suspicious vehicle.

At 1:55 pm Lt. Daniel responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a possible stolen vehicle out of Austin Texas. The vehicle was located and towed.

At 9:42 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 1:11 am Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 1400 block of Montezuma in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.

At 6:45 am Ofc. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 5:24 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 1400 block of Fannin in reference to an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was located and towed.

At 6:15 pm Cpl. Neumann responded to the 700 block of Dewees St in reference to possible shots fired. Officers searched the area and did not locate any suspicious activity.

At 7:56 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to possible fraud. Information was received.

At 9:23 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 10:07 pm Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, Delmys Mendoza of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 12:44 am Cpl. Mayfield responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a possible disturbance. The subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.

FEBRUARY 12, 2024

At 1:15 am Cpl. Neumann responded to the 900 block of Spring St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

FEBRUARY 13, 2024

At 5:00 pm Lt. Daniel responded to the 1400 block of Crockett St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.
