The Colorado County Citizen regularly accepts letters to the editor on timely and relevant topics, particularly topics that have appeared in our newspaper.
The Colorado County Citizen welcomes letters to the editor of 300 words or less. The letters may be edited for clarity, legal ramifications, length or general taste at the editor’s discretion. We also reserve the right to refuse to publish submitted letters for the same reasons.
Letters to the editor solely addressing religious or political topics without direct relevance to Colorado County are unlikely to be published.
All letters must be signed. Letters published do not necessarily reflect the views of The Colorado County Citizen, its publisher, staff or advertisers.
