SCHULENBURG — The Stanzel Family Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for the 20232024 school year for their highly-coveted Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship offers up to $15,000 to deserving high school seniors living in Schulenburg or Weimar school districts. All seniors are encouraged to apply. If awarded, scholars will receive $1,500 per semester, renewable based on continued eligibility, to support their pursuit of a technical degree or certification, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree at any accredited university, community college, or trade school.
The Foundation was established in 1989 by Joseph and Victor Stanzel, co-founders and owners of Victor Stanzel Co., a model aircraft toy manufacturing company in Schulenburg. Their seventy years of entrepreneurial endeavors affirm the importance of hard work, dedication, honesty, integrity, and focused vision. The Joseph & Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship legacy awaits as applications are due April 3.
For public or private school students, please contact your high school counselor for information on how to apply. Homeschooled students must reach out directly to Melanie Ramirez with the SFF at melanie@stanzelmuseum. org.
