If you know Jean Redus, you probably have been gifted with one of her fabulous cakes. What a treat! You save every bite as long as you can.
I have another friend who loves to share her taco soup. Then there is my daughter, Marki, who not only brings my favorite pasta salad, buts adds chocolates and some kind of flowers. These traditions are delightful.
This year my friend, Jo Rae, brought sparkling grape juice for toasts, and a gift to last forever. The gift, a lovely lilac designed notebook, was filled with quotes from various sources, Jo said that she hoped I would read and use the quotes in my writings and for encouragement.
So here goes. I will use the quotes and suggest that you find the author. Before the quotes, there will be a list of authors from which to choose (this is difficult) … but try your best.
