Cub Scouts take top spots at district race

BRENHAM — Cub Scout Pack 312 was well represented at the district race on Feb. 17. There were 45 derby racers in attendance with George Bergfeld, Jr. taking 1st place in Webelos and 4th place overall.

Nicole Bergfeld got 2nd place for Tigers. Jude Schobel received an award for most realistic looking car.

At the local Pack Derby on Feb. 11 in preparation of the district race, Rosie Weid, Lorilie Schobel and Brendon Suchadoll took first, second and third respectively in the Lions Den division. In Tigers, Robbie Jones took 1st place, Nicole Bergfeld took 2nd place and Kody Porter took 3 rd place.

The Wolves division was led by Abel Weid in 1st place and Ruth Walla in 2n d place.

Jude Schobel took first place for the Bears division and Carson McRee, George Bergfeld Jr. And Henry Jones took 1s t, 2n d, and 3 rd place respectively in WEBOLO.
