LA GRANGE — The Fayette Community Foundation is now accepting applications for their 2024-2025 scholarship awards. Applications can be found on the FCF website (www.faycofoundation.com/scholarships) or through local high school counselors in Fayette County and the surrounding areas. The Fayette Community Foundation currently offers 10 diverse scholarship opportunities in 2024, all aimed at supporting students pursuing higher education within Fayette County and its surrounding areas.
Among the offerings are the community-funded and community-led FCF General Scholarship and the FCF Technical Education Scholarship. Both funding opportunities are available to all graduating seniors from public, private, and homeschooled programs within an 80mile radius of La Grange. These scholarships, each providing a minimum of $1000, emphasize qualities such as community service, academic excellence and financial need, with priority given to those not in the top ten percent, however no applicant is excluded.
Furthermore, FCF proudly serves local individuals, families, and corporations by assisting in the administration of affiliated scholarship funds. Through these scholarships, FCF partners with the remarkable people whose financial gifts make a lasting difference in addressing the diverse educational needs of our rural students. These scholarships cater to a range of backgrounds and academic pursuits, each tailored to specific criteria set by the Fund Advisor.
