AUSTIN — Hound Song Brewing Co, located in downtown Columbus, TX was awarded Gold and Silver medals at the 2024 Texas Craft Brewers Cup presented by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild. The best beers in 31 medal categories covering 150+ different beer styles were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals during an awards ceremony at the Texas Craft Brewers Guild’s Annual Meeting at Hilton Austin on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Hound Song Brewing Co won Gold in the Strong German and Czech Lagers category for Conundrum, its German Doppelbock, and Silver for Neighbourhood Bully in the American IPA category. Hound Song Brewing Co is a family-friendly Brewpub and scratch kitchen located in downtown Columbus. Hound Song Brewing prides itself on maintaining high quality standards with its food and beer service, and ensures that there is something for everyone at its spacious taproom.

Judging for the Texas Craft Brewers Cup took place Feb. 2 through Feb. 4 in Austin with 55 judges evaluating 956 anonymized entries from 170 breweries hailing from all different corners of the state. The Texas Craft Brewers Cup judging pool was composed of experienced brewing industry professionals and members of the homebrewing community with extensive Beer Judge Certification Program judging experience.
