Jared B. Lovelace Republican for U.S. Congress 10th Congressional District of Texas

My name is Jared B. Lovelace and I’m a proud 7th generation Texan. I’m a husband, father, Eagle Scout, BYU alumni, Army veteran, MBA graduate, entrepreneur, and I’m running against Michael McCaul in the Texas Republican primary for Congressional District 10.

Like most Americans, I’m dissatisfied with the current state of Congress where politics, PACs, money, and pressure seem to outweigh common sense. I’m driven to serve my state and country and reject the lie that we the people are powerless to enact change. Here are my priorities: Debt=bondage. The national debt has risen from 8 to 34 TRILLION dollars during my opponent’s tenure in office. This is unacceptable. If changes aren’t made to shrink the size of the federal government and shift control to the states, our country won’t continue to exist as a free nation.

The southern border issue is not new, yet it continues to take the back-burner in priorities for our current representative. The wall is a military prerogative and a matter of national defense; we MUST close the revolving door of drug and human traffickers, illegals, and terrorists entering our country. Millions of tax-payer dollars are being sent abroad to fight foreign wars. It’s time to take care of business at home before attending to matters abroad.

I have no staff, no cushy donor networks, no polling, and no campaign debt. Since November, I have personally attended dozens of political events and posted flyers on thousands of doors. I hope to inspire all conservatives to get involved and prove that a working-class citizen can run for office, win, get results, let go of power, and return home with integrity intact. With your vote, let’s retire our career politician and elect a true public servant.
