Beef and Forage Committee to host CEU Educational Event

The Colorado County Beef and Forage Committee is prepared to host their upcoming Beef and Forage 5-Hour CEU Educational Event scheduled for Monday, Feb. 26.

The event will be held at the Colorado County Fairgrounds HE Building located at 146 Crossroads Blvd., Columbus, Tx 78934.

Registration will be from 8 a.m. to 8:30am with the program beginning promptly following the registration period. The session will conclude by 3 p.m.

A catered BBQ lunch will be served. The cost of attendance is $30 per person if preregistered by Feb. 21.

Registration at the door is $35 per person.

Topics covered at this program will include: Livestock Diseases, Insects, Parasites and Their Control; Strategies for Soil Health; Weed Control in Pastures and Hayfields; TDA Laws and Regulations Update.

Five continuing education units for TDA Pesticide Applicators pending approval from TDA.
