I am 48 years old. I started my career in the construction industry in my teens. I worked in road and bridge construction in the early 90s including the San Jacinto River I-10 bridge. I have also worked in commercial and residential construction throughout my life such as Recreation centers in Houston, Bush Intercontinental terminal A and various hotels throughout the state. I have worked on and overseen many different construction sites. Some of my duties were supervisory over the years where I was to oversee employees and contractors and ensure the job stayed within budget and timeline. I worked for RICE CISD for 11 years with 9 of them being Grounds Director overseeing and working with the maintenance crew. I am currently self-employed in the construction industry as well as helping my wife with R&R Shaved Ice.

I believe in transparency in all aspects. I make a promise to receive and respond to all questions and concerns of the public and will provide my Constituents with open and honest feedback.
I am seeking this position out of personal desire to continue to improve Colorado County Precincts. I believe I can and will bring a fresh outlook Precinct 1 that I will apply towards the goal of making long-term solutions that will benefit our county.
My life has been grounded on community service and has been dedicated to finding unique ways of giving back to my community. I am strongly qualified for the position and well equipped to hold the office of Colorado County Commissioner Pct.1 and I am ready to learn, adapt, and grow in the position to reach goals towards short and long-term improvements across Colorado County.
