I am a 57-year-old retired U.S. Secret Service Agent who is currently serving as Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 Colorado County.
I served the US Secret Service for 28+ years with dignity, honor, integrity, and respect. It was a true honor to serve my country.
For 28 years, I was a Secret Service Agent who worked closely with the other federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI, CIA and ATF. This gave me an understanding of the legal system from the inside out.
In addition, the County Commissioners/Justice of the Peace PCT 1,2 and 4 selected me from a pool of 13 candidates to fill the unexpired term of Judge Truchard, so I have held the office and run the court for almost nine months.
As a Secret Service Agent, I was tasked with protecting the President and other U.S. officials at home and abroad. I held the nation’s top security clearance and led special teams and task forces to thwart biological, radiological and chemical attacks.
I earned trust as a professional, but I pride myself on being an honest, plain-spoken man whose integrity earns the trust of his colleagues, friends, and neighbors.
I believe in the power of public service. The Justice of the Peace can help make people’s lives better on the community level.
I dedicated my career to the legal system and public service. By giving me the responsibility and honor of serving as Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, my fellow citizens can rest assured the bench is filled by an experienced professional who is committed to fairness, justice and common sense.
