The kids are out for President’s Day on Monday, Feb. 19 and families will need a place to go to get out of the house for a while.
At the library, there will be a movie showing of “Ice Age” at 3 p.m. with free popcorn and bottled water. The movie is rated PG.
At the end of the movie, the library will serve snow cones or popsicles for an icy treat.
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Friends of the Library will be hosting an Informational Forum Program at 6 p.m. in the library. For those interested in this event, please RSVP to the library.
For those needing a little stress relief or stretching of the body, join the Library in Motion group with a Chair Yoga and Meditation class on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.
Thursday, Feb. 22, the library will have Family Storytime reading, singing and learning about our USA presidents. Afterwords during Preschool Discovery Time, the youth will learn the letter “V”, how to count from 1-20 and use play money.
The Beginner Crochet class will be meeting with the adult group from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The youth group will begin at 3:30 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23 to finish the week.
