Columbus Elementary School will be asking parents of new pre-k and kindergarten students to bring their required documents to the school for a registration event at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2.
The event will be held at the Columbus Elementary Cafeteria on school grounds at 1324 Bowie St. The event will end at 7 p.m.
The event is for new students in kindergarten or Pre-K to submit their necessary documents prior to the 2024-25 school year.
Parents must bring certain documents to the event before they can register their student online at the event. Those documents are listed as follows:
• Government issued photo ID of parent or guardian.
• Student’s birth certificate
• Proof of residency such as utility bills or voter registration card.
• Current immunization record After providing each of these materials, parents will be able to register their students into the system for the upcoming school year. For any questions, call 979-732-2078.
