St. Anthony prepares for events post-Catholic Schools week

Students and staff at St. Anthony Catholic School are recovering from last week’s Catholic Schools Week activities.

From the opening day Mass to the team scavenger hunt, everyone kept busy but had a great time working, playing and praying together. The week finished up with the annual St. Anthony Gala Saturday evening, Feb. 3.

Once again, the St. Anthony PTC pulled off another fantastic fundraiser.

St. Anthony School leaders expressed appreciation for all those who came out to support.

The St. Anthony One Act Play will compete at Brentwood Christian School in Austin this Saturday, Feb. 10. This year’s play is “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight” by Craig Sodaro. The cast will perform for the St. Anthony students and staff on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m. and again for the public at 6:30 p.m.

Since Valentine’s Day is falls on Ash Wednesday this year, St. Anthony students will celebrate the day on Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday on Feb. 13.
