COLUMBUS — The Live Oak Art Center will be displaying some of the Columbus Independent School District’s artistic submissions into the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo starting on Feb. 7 and continuing throughout the month.
The Houston Rodeo committee judge art submitted to their competition on Jan. 17 to select the finalists to be displayed at the Rodeo. The Live Oak Center will create an exhibit for each finalist and other participants from CISD schools for each age division.
The month-long celebration of students begins on Thursday, Feb. 8 with an opening reception and award presentation at 6 p.m.
