SCHULENBURG — The Stanzel Family Foundation reaffirms its commitment to community development by awarding grants to two impactful organizations, the Fayette County Community Theatre and Building Resilience Inclusion Diversity & Growth thru Education or BRIDGE. These grants will support the operations of both organizations as they strive to create inclusive and vibrant communities through the arts and connection.

The Fayette County Community Theatre, in its seven years of existence, has played a pivotal role in transforming our rural area into a hub for art education and cultural opportunities. The organization’s mission is centered around providing high-quality performing arts programs to all members of Fayette County, embodying the vision of “Building Community Through Play.” FCCT’s contributions extend beyond the stage, positively impacting the local and state economies through job generation, tax revenues and tourism dollars. The cultural, economic and societal benefits derived from FCCT’s commitment to art education and entertainment enhance the overall quality of life for Fayette County residents.

BRIDGE, another recipient of the Stanzel Family Foundation’s support, shares a common goal of community development but takes a different approach. The organization seeks to break the cycle of communication barriers and lack of access in rural areas. Through its five key initiatives — education, business, government, community and health — BRIDGE aims to create awareness and bring resources from metropolitan areas to rural communities.

The Stanzel Family Foundation envisions a community where each member is engaged in a voluntary and self-motivated pursuit of a healthy lifestyle through education, accessibility and programs. The grants awarded to FCCT and BRIDGE are in direct alignment with achieving this vision and fostering vibrant and inclusive communities.
