The Texas Right to Life organization is hosting a Walk for Life rally in support of anti-abortion efforts as well as protesting human trafficking and euthanasia in the nation. The Columbus-hosted event is planned for Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. starting at the Industry State Bank at 2015 Milam St.
After starting at ISB, the procession will march down Milam Street to the Colorado County Courthouse at 400 Spring St.
The march will conclude with speakers at a rally on the east side of the Courthouse. The speakers will be discussing many topics including the recent legislation regarding abortion. The organization encouraged attendees to bring their own signs in support of their cause.
