Columbus High School alumni are making great strides in their college careers, one of which being a 2022 graduate.
Colton Pitchford, brother of current Cardinal Camdon Pitchford and son of Jennifer Wray and Gregory Pitchford received his first college football championship ring. Pitchford is currently a red-shirt freshman at Jacksonville State University where he worked his way into a special teams role for the team.
Pitchford got on the field during the New Orleans Bowl against the University of Lousisana at Lafayette where his team won in overtime 34-31 to earn his first college football championship ring.
