The Turtle Wing Foundation’s annual Toast event is slated for Thursday, Jan. 25 at Sengelmann Hall’s second floor in Schulenburg. Doors open at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar during cocktail hour.

The program begins at 7 p.m. The Turtle Wing Toast is a free event; no tickets or RSVP necessary.

The event’s continued theme is to “Remember, Rejoice, Renew” — remember how we started, rejoice in our accomplishments, and renew our mission for the new year. This year, the program, “A Lasting Legacy” will be highlighting the legacy of Turtle Wing and the future legacy of The Challenger League, which is a baseball league for those with disabilities under the Weimar Little League umbrella.

The Toast provides a way for Turtle Wing staff, board, donors, volunteers, providers, supporters and even those who may be unfamiliar but want to learn more about the foundation to come together in celebration. The event will conclude at 8 p.m.

Turtle Wing Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission of helping individuals with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential.
