LA GRANGE — The Rural Nonprofit Networking Group is excited to invite all nonprofit staff and volunteers to join their next gathering which will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10. RNNG creates opportunities for the organizations that do so much good in our rural communities to share their missions and visions, discuss community needs and partnership opportunities, bring in experts to facilitate growth and professionalism, and simply connect to maximize the efficiency and impact that participants can bring to Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca and surrounding counties.

This month, the gathering will be hosted by Fayette County Community Theatre and held at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center, 250 W. Fairgrounds Road, La Grange, TX 78945. Heather Barthelme, Executive Director, will facilitate this month’s discussion topic, “The Right Time to Hire Staff”. Attendees will learn to identify when the amount of work needed to sustain a nonprofit outgrows a volunteer working board’s time and energy. Heather will lead a discussion amongst the local nonprofit peers on all the things to consider when recruiting and how to strategically decide if it is the right time to hire staff for your organization.

The Fayette County Community Theatre’s mission is to enrich, educate, and entertain our community by inviting individuals to both attend and participate in high quality theatrical productions.

The Rural Non-Profit Networking Group would like to invite all organizations interested in participating to attend, as well as there will be a virtual option. For more information on RNNG or this gathering, contact Ashleigh Parks with Fayette Community Foundation 979-797-2182.
