RICE ATHLETE SIGNS WITH NEBRASKA

The Rice Raiders senior wide receiver and linebacker Roger Grandey committed and signed to continue his athletic and academic career at the University of Nebraska.

“We are sad to see him go, but we are excited to see him become a cornhusker,” Rice Athletic Director Brad Dumont said.

Grandey said he is ready to get to work with Nebraska and he is excited to learn under former NFL Head coach Matt Rhule and have an opportunity to catch passes from the number one quarterback recruit in the nation, Dylan Raiola.
