EAGLE LAKE — The Eagle Lake Noon Lions Club is gearing up for its annual Pancake Supper on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The meal will be served from 5-7 p.m. at the Community Center, 100 N. Walnut Ave. Tickets are $12 per plate and includes a stack of pancakes, two sausages, butter and syrup. For tickets, contact a Lions club member, visit First National Bank of Eagle Lake, or call 713-545-1054.

Meal purchasers are invited to dine in at the Community Center or take their meal home.

According to a release, the Pancake Supper Fundraiser was started by the Eagle Lake Rotary in the 1970s. After the Rotary Club ended, the Noon Lions Club took up the tradition.

An organization spokesman said generations of Eagle Lake Lions Club members have developed their pancake- flipping and sausage grilling skills while raising funds for charitable projects in the community.
