DAR selects flag of the month

The John Everett Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and Robert Rankin No. 62 Sons of the American Revolution recognized Rick and Wendy Haley for their American Flag display for the month of December. It is located at 207 McCormick St. in Columbus.

Rick said that they are proud American Patriots and love our Country. Rick is a US Army Veteran who served in Iraq during Desert Storm and did a tour in Korea. Rick was a Forward Observer.

Rick and Wendy have five children and six grandchildren. Rick loves to fish in the Bays of Texas in his spare time.
