The Weimar Ladycats played two games last week and came away with one win and one loss.
The Ladycats played Bloomington on Tuesday, Dec. 12, and then Flatonia on Friday, Dec. 15, to round out their week of action.

Coming off a tournament where they played some bigger schools and gained some valuable experience and put it to good use.
The Ladycats wasted no time getting back in the win column and took the game right to Bloomington. They were in their face from the opening tip off, but Bloomington was ready for it. Bloomington’s offense was knocking down multiple early shots to try to get some early momentum.
The Bloomington crowd was fired up as they tried to will their team to victory, but the Ladycats quickly quieted the noise. The Ladycats went on a huge run to make sure their lead was out of reach and then their defense shut down the game.
Bloomington’s offense had a late surge that made the score close, but the Ladycats were able to close out the game and leave with a win.
They now set their sights on Flatonia looking to string some wins together before the holiday.

The Ladycats traveled to Flatonia to take on one of the best teams in the state that just won their host tournament.
The Ladycats were not scared of the challenge and met Flatonia head on the court. They battled all game long, but Flatonia is a bigger school and the Ladycats again took a tough loss.
The Ladycats know games like these can only make them better and with the district schedule just around the corner they will look to use this game as fuel to take on their district schedule.
