COLUMBUS — The Dec. 8 edition of Friday Night Live hosted by the Noah’s Ark Coffee Shop featured a professional singer who provided opera vocals to some well-known holiday and gospel songs.
Dorceal Duckens, a longtime member of the Houston Ebony Opera, brought an hour-long performance that featured several traditional Christmas songs. As Noah’s Ark Coffee Shop is a service provided by Pastor Daniel Poré and Zoe Christian Freedom Church, Duckens also provided some words of encouragement, readings from the Bible as well as some gospel song performances.
The Friday Night Live performance is just another iteration of the monthly event intended to give attendees a Friday night event featuring a variety of musical acts.
