Date set for Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Colorado County in partnership with the Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference has been set.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Colorado County in partnership with the Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference has been set.

The AgriLife Extension Office extends an invitation to attend the 2024 Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference, on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at the El Campo Civic Center in El Campo. An informative and timely program has been planned to provide grain handlers with valuable information. Along the upper Gulf Coast, worker safety continues to be an important part of daily operations. This year’s program will have a focus on worker safety and address topics important to daily job duty performance. A catered BBQ lunch will be served for all registered attendees.

Pre-registration for $25 per person and will be accepted through Friday, Jan. 12, 2024. Forms and payment may be sent to the Colorado County Extension Office at 316 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas 78934. Registration at the door will be $30 per person.

Five Continuing Education Units will be offered pending approval from Texas Department of Agriculture for all licensed pesticide applicators that check in at the beginning of the conference and remain through the conclusion of the day.
