Santa to visit Colorado County in various locations

There are several locations that the residents of Colorado County will be able to meet and take pictures with Santa Claus.

Columbus Rescue Dogs and Tractor Supply Co. is hosting a photo opportunity for pets in the county to get their picture taken with Santa. The event begins at 9 a.m. on Dec. 9 and ends at noon. The Tractor Supply Co. will host the event at their Columbus location 4880 I-10 E.

The Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department station at 2845 FM 949 in Cat Spring is hosting a visit to Santa on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 1-2 p.m.

The Columbus Elementary School is hosting breakfast with Santa on Dec. 9 from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will be held in the Columbus Hall at 3845 I-10 W Frontage Road. Kids can participate in games, crafts, photos with Santa and hot cocoa while parents can participate in the silent auction or visit the many vendors present. Attendance is free.

The Eagle Lake “Parade of Lights” will feature pictures with Santa after the conclusion of the parade. The Eagle Lake Chamber of Commerce at 303 E. Main St. Will host Santa and other holiday related events at their location. The event will go from 3-9 p.m. with the parade starting at 6:45 p.m. Santa will be available for pictures only at the end of the parade.
