Family reunites after multi-year delay to pandemic

The Collins family of Columbus had not been able to celebrate their 40th year anniversary of their first family reunion since the start of the pandemic in 2020. After three years of cancelled events due to the unprecedented times, the Collins finally reunited in Columbus to hit their milestone mark.

The Collins family of Columbus had not been able to celebrate their 40th year anniversary of their first family reunion since the start of the pandemic in 2020. After three years of cancelled events due to the unprecedented times, the Collins finally reunited in Columbus to hit their milestone mark.

On Oct. 13 through Oct. 15, the Collins family celebrated a multiday event to as they prepared for 200 family members to attend and had a reception that exceeded expectations.

Robert and Harriet Woods Collins were the parents of ten siblings whose children and extended family prioritized the yearly event in Columbus.

The reunion will return to being a yearly event as the Collins can celebrate their family ties with no restrictions.
