LA GRANGE – The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild will be having a Nov. 28, Charity Workshop at the Randolph Community Center at 653 E Pearl St. the week after Thanksgiving.
This workshop benefits the surrounding areas with quilts to residents in local nursing care facilities. Over 30 kits have been prepared for the workshop by Kathi Babcock.
There are more kits that need cut, batting to cut, pressing of blocks and donated fabric to go through. Lunch will be provided after the Guild Meeting followed by the workshop. The CVQG is seeking volunteers to assist with these efforts. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether participating or simply witnessing what the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild does. No sewing experience is needed.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, LaGrange, TX 78945.
Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
