Kist By Grace, a Christian Praise and Worship band based in Orchard, Texas, will be performing an Advent-Christmas Concert on Dec. 9, Saturday, beginning at 4 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 615 South Eagle, Weimar.
Following the concert, attendees are invited to come to Faith’s Fellowship Hall for refreshments and celebration of the season. Enjoy the Christmas decorations, great music by the band, and refreshments as we celebrate the Christ of Christmas.
The members of the band have come together to keep God’s music and Word in the public place and produce an experience they hope will appeal to all walks of life. Celebrating Jesus Christ is, and always has been, the greatest celebration ever.
Most of the membership of Kist By Grace started their careers on stage in church and moved toward the secular genres such as country and rock. They have been on stage for most of their lives, entertaining audiences all over the United States and other countries.
The band consists of Debra Gayle originally from Petal, Mississippi, Kevin “KP” Peikert from Egypt, Texas, Melissa Mund from San Antonio, Texas, Jacob Reid from Houston, Texas, Bryan Graham from Paris, Texas, Tim Mund from Dallas, Texas, Kim Nessler from Needville, Texas, and Cory Chenoweth from Rome, New York. You’ll find Debra doing Vocals/ Keys, Melissa---Vocals/ Keys, Kevin—Vocals/ Lead and Acoustic Guitar/ Keys, Bryan—Lead Guitar, Kim—Cello, Jacob—Bass, and Tim—Drums.

On Sunday, December 10, Faith Lutheran will have a communion worship service at 10 a.m. including the Children’s Christmas Program. All are welcome to the Sacrament, and no one is ever turned away.
