Arrest warrants served in Sheridan

SHERIDAN – Members of various police enforcement departments combined to serve two warrants involved with a narcotics investigation in Colorado County led by the Westside Narcot ics Task Force on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

SHERIDAN — Members of various police enforcement departments combined to serve two warrants involved with a narcotics investigation in Colorado County led by the Westside Narcot ics Task Force on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

Alleged offenders Rafael Herrera (44) and Robert Sloan (43) were reported to be serving methamphetamine from their residences in Sheridan. The Task Force along with the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office and County Attorney’s Office contributed to the investigation efforts as the warrants were fulfilled and arrests were made.

Members of the Austin County Regional Special Response team and the Texas Department of Public Safety executed the warrants early Tuesday morning at a residence in the 1000 Block of County Road 244 and the 5000 Block of 4th Street. The alleged suspects were arrested on charges of the Manufacture and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The suspects were promptly transported and booked into the Colorado County Jail following the arrests.
