Columbus Historical Preservation Trust creates volunteer committees

CHPT has recently established committees of volunteers to help the organization move forward with the work needed in 2023 and beyond.

The committees are Building, Fundraising, Finance, Events, Membership and Special Projects.

The first meeting with all of the committee members was held on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the Buddy Rau Room.

Each committee established a chairperson(s) and goals for the next 6 months.

“We are hugely thankful for the support demonstrated by these amazing volunteers who are enthusiastic about the Opera House and helping CHPT,” Executive Director Melissa “Missy” Parker said, “Without them, none of our lofty goals for the future would be possible. I cannot thank them enough for being a part of our efforts.”
