Colorado County Senior Connections

COLUMBUS – The Lighthouse at St. Paul Lutheran Church served as hosts for the Colorado County Senior Connections group on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Dianne Jones is the chef who caters and provides all the meals for the seniors that attend the CCSC meetings every first and third Wednesday. Chicken Parm, salad and a piping hot peach cobbler filled the hungry seniors who came to play cards, dominoes and Bingo. John Jones, chief bottler washer, helped move the heavy dishes.

St. Paul has given their support and assistance to the CCSC group by making their brand-new facility available for use. The larger parking lot and open space inside the building allow for higher numbers of seniors to gather and fellowship with last meeting surpassing 60 attending seniors.
